Sarah is a second-year (as of November 2022) grad student in the lab. Sarah is originally from Chico, California, where she got her bachelor's degree in biochemistry. For her project, she is using genetic code expansion to characterize an enzyme that could catalyze the denitration of proteins. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, zoning out in front of the tv, and snuggling with her two cats.
