Lanelle majored in Biology at Eastern Oregon University in 1999 and has worked in academic research and lab management ever since, experimenting with a variety of model organisms throughout the years including mouse, fungus, and plant. As lab manager for the GCE4All Research Center, she conducts GCE research and attends to the needs of the team and the logistics of lab spaces, inventories, and equipment to maintain a safe, productive, and evolving research environment. Lanelle also enjoys working on DIY projects and getting out in nature in her beautiful home state, Oregon.
