David grew up in Jerusalem and Berkeley, CA. He began attending Oregon State University in 2021 as an undergraduate in Bioengineering with a minor in Biochemistry. He joined Professor Ryan Mehl's Lab in September of 2022 as an undergraduate researcher. His primary work focuses on fluorine-containing amino acid encoding and tRNA promoter research.
