Cat is a PhD candidate currently trained under Dr. Richard Cooley at Oregon State University. Cat relocated from Ho Cho Minh City, Vietnam to Oregon where she received her B.S in Microbiology from OSU in 2020. Her exposure to Biochemistry & Biophysics from undergraduate research with Dr. Elisar J Barbar motivated her to continue her training. Cat’s current research focuses on adopting and applying phosphoserine encoding technologies for protein structural characterization. In her spare time, Cat enjoys baking, camping, and watching Korean dramas.
